Her training in cosmetic and facial acupuncture also included a wide array of ancillary treatments, as well as difficult to treat conditions such as TMJ and Bells Palsey. She finds it interesting that in treating the face, we are also treating underlying emotional conditions.  Facial acupuncture is able to heal the body as well as the spirit.

Karen began her love of Chinese medicine through her studies of Tai Chi and Qi Gong with Master Yun Xiang Tseng.  She became fascinated with this ancient system of medicine and self- healing.  During this time, she also discovered the benefits of Acupuncture.  She found that the practice of Acupuncture was extremely therapeutic for stress management, women’s health and infertility.

Her previous experience includes working as an engineer for a large corporation, and creating and marketing her own line of jewelry. Her varied experience gives her a unique perspective in her approach to healing and patient care.  It is her goal to help people find harmony and balance, as well as long lasting health and longevity.
